Audience: MR Technologists
This video covers the basic concepts of MR data acquisition. It is designed for the technologist new to MR or for those preparing for the ARRT certification exam in MRI.


Learning Objectives
Following this video the viewer should be able to:
• Define the terms: Phase and Frequency
• Recognize the gradient functions in a pulse sequence diagram and describe the order in which they are performed
• Describe what is meant by “number of averages” or “NSA”
• Describe the differences between a 2DFT acquisition and a 3DFT acquisition
• Describe the various techniques utilized to reduce acquisition time

As of April 1, 2017, the Philips Online Learning Center will no longer offer Online Education Accounts for the advance purchase of bulk continuing education units (CEUs).  We will, however, continue to offer CEUs with the purchase of individual courses.
