Module Description:
Audience: Physicians and Sonographers
This tutorial discusses the Tissue Doppler, Spectral Doppler and Color Doppler features of the HD15 PureWave ultrasound system vision 2012. After completion of this tutorial, the participant will understand how to successfully utilize the Spectral and Color Doppler features and functions available on the HD15 PureWave ultrasound system.


Learning Objectives

The Tissue Doppler section of this module will:
• Explain the difference between conventional Doppler and Tissue Doppler Imaging (TDI)
• List the different TDI modes
• Discuss normal Pulsed Wave (PW) TDI spectral tracing patterns

The Spectral Doppler section of this module will:
• Summarize Doppler iSCAN behavior
• Discuss High Q
• Explain Link PW cursor behavior
• Discuss Intelligent Doppler
• Identify Doppler post freeze controls

The Color Doppler section of this module will:
• Identified the parameters adjusted by the color iSCAN and Flow Opt controls
• Discuss Color Compare techniques
• Summarize the Transcranial Doppler Imaging (TDI) features
