Course Information

Course: Ultrasound Product Training - CE Credit

Module: Peripheral Arterial Duplex Imaging

Module Description:
This course will describe the indications and sonographic approach for complete upper and lower extremity arterial duplex exams. It is organized into three sections: Lower extremity arterial anatomy and duplex imaging, upper extremity arterial anatomy and duplex imaging, and peripheral arterial disease.

The course will focus on normal anatomy and exam protocols before a review of signs and symptoms of peripheral arterial disease and exam/technique modifications for assessing obstructive arterial disease with ultrasound.

This course will take approximately 1 hour to complete. There are no prerequisites for this course.

This activity may be available in multiple formats or from different sponsors. ARRT regulations state that an individual may not repeat a self-learning activity for credit if it was reported in the same or any subsequent biennium.

Target Audience
Sonographers, Physicians and Echocardiographers
