Module Description:
Audience: Radiologic Technologists, Managers
This module describes how project management can facilitate the successful completion of necessary work. You will learn the different methods of project management and recognize the various roles individuals play as well as the responsibilities associated with each role. The module also covers the five process groups of project management and the basic functions that occur within each group—essential information to anyone in a leadership role.


This activity may be available in multiple formats or from different sponsors. ARRT regulations state that an individual may not repeat a self-learning activity for credit if it was reported in the same or any subsequent biennium.


Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this module, the participant will be able to:
• Define a project.
• Describe how project management can facilitate the successful completion of a project.
• Name the different methods of project management and describe the appropriate use of each method.
• Recognize the various roles individuals play and the responsibilities associated with each role in the project management process.
• List the 5 process groups of project management and the basic functions that occur within each process group.
