The module provides a basic overview of the employment issues associated with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) of 1990. It is important for all employees to know and understand the basic rights of individuals as it applies to themselves and others in the workplace.

About the author:

Wayne Stockburger is administrator of the departments of radiology, radiation oncology, and orthopaedics for Scott and White Health Systems in Temple, Texas.    He . She has had many years of experience in the practice of radiology clinically as a technologist and administratively in academic and community hospital settings. Mr. Stockburger holds an MBA from the Anderson School of Management at the University of New Mexico, and a J.D. from Northwestern California University School of Law.  He is an active member and fellow of the American Healthcare Radiology Administrators, American College of Healthcare Executives, and American College of Medical Practice Executives.

Bulk CEU Sales Discontinued

As of April 1, 2017, the Philips Online Learning Center will no longer offer Online Education Accounts for the advance purchase of bulk continuing education units (CEUs).  We will, however, continue to offer CEUs with the purchase of individual courses.

If you have an Online Learning Account purchased prior to April 1st with a balance of CEUs remaining, you may continue to use the account to obtain continuing education from the Philips Online Learning Center.
